The Brick Development Association (BDA) is thrilled to announce the shortlist for the prestigious 2024 Brick Awards. This year's competition attracted hundreds of entries from leading architects, developers, and contractors around the world.

The Brick Awards, now in its 48th year, celebrates excellence in brick architecture and craftsmanship. A distinguished panel of judges meticulously evaluated entries across 15 categories, recognising projects that exemplify exceptional design, innovative use of clay brick, and a commitment to sustainability.

The winners will be revealed at a glittering ceremony hosted by popular TV personality and architect George Clarke, best known for his work on Channel 4 programmes The Home Show, The Restoration Man, George Clarke's Old House New Home and George Clarke's Amazing Spaces. The ceremony will be held on Wednesday, November 6th, at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.

“The standard of entries this year was exceptional,” said Jonathan Hall, Executive Director at Allford Hall Monaghan Morris Architects and Head Judge of this year’s Brick Awards. “The shortlisted projects represent the very best in contemporary brick design and construction.”

These shortlisted projects encompass diverse building types, showcasing the versatility and enduring beauty of brick.
