The 2021 Brick Awards sees the return of Tom McGuire to the judging panel. Tom has a passion for quality and standards within the industry making him a fantastic addition to the panel.
“I am honoured and privileged to be asked back again as a judge for this year’s awards, an event that is a stand out spectacle offering a superb chance to showcase everything that is wonderful in using brick as a material of choice. These awards continually raise the bar in the diversity and quality of the projects being submitted and this year I am expecting that tradition to continue. The Brick Awards also promotes the Brick Industry to the wider audience in terms of career opportunities and solid prospects at a time when there is a recognised skills shortage across all sectors and at all levels, long may it continue”
Tom started his career as a Bricklaying apprentice with Taylor Woodrow upon leaving school at 15, he has gained vast experience and knowledge within the Brickwork sector having worked through the ranks from apprentice to Bricklayer, Supervisor, Contracts manager and Director.
He's currently Managing Director for Grangewood Brickwork.
