Architects' Choice Award voting live

2017 08 15 architects choice w1280h960

Voting in the Architects’ Choice category of the Brick Awards opens today, Tuesday 15th August. Following a record 324 entries, the Brick Development Association revealed this year’s 83-strong shortlist on 27th July, chosen by an expert panel of judges led by Head Judge, Joe Morris of Duggan Morris Architects. The association now invites architects to choose which project should receive the prestigious Architects’ Choice Award.

The Architects’ Choice Award is a unique element to the Brick Awards. This category, unlike other industry awards is an exciting opportunity for finalists’ peers en masse to appraise shortlisted projects and contribute directly to the UK’s celebration of exemplary brick architecture.

Registered architects and architectural students can vote in the Architects’ Choice Award, using their RIBA registration number. This hotly contested award enjoys superb credibility with previous winners including in 2016, van Heyningen and Haward, for their work on The Whitty Theatre in Berkshire and in 2015, Anderson Bell + Christie, for The Shields Centre in Glasgow.
