West End Gate is a residential development located at 285A Edgware Road in London, UK. The development was designed by Squire & Partners, an architecture firm based in London, and is owned by the Berkeley Group Holdings. The project comprises four buildings, each with its distinct architectural style which puts a modern spin on classic London design, all arranged around a landscaped garden square.

The development features a mix of one to four-bedroom apartments and penthouses in a series of mansion blocks around a newly landscaped garden square. The residences are finished to a high standard, with luxurious fittings and finishes throughout, such as engineered timber floors, custom-designed kitchens, and marble bathrooms. The development breathes new life into a historic London district.

West End Gate's facade is made of a mix of materials, including brickwork, metal panels, and glazed elements, creating a striking and modern appearance. The brickwork used in the project is a key feature of the development, with a variety of patterns and textures used to create interest and depth in the facade. Michelmersh's Handmade Downs Blend is used perfectly throughout the project, with the soft tones homogenise perfectly with Paddington Basins aged red brick while contrasting the leafy greens that surround the project and the project's pre-existing neighbours. Throughout the day the bricks provide a warm glow to the area as the sun permeates the site, ensuring natural light is capitalised upon.

Importantly, the scheme provides 128 intermediate and socially rented apartments across four of the mansion blocks. Special attention was paid throughout the planning to ensure that the windows used were also consistent with local building typology.

West End Gate is located in the heart of London and is just a short walk from Hyde Park and Paddington Station. The development is well-connected to the rest of the city, with excellent transport links via underground, overground, and national rail services. West End Gate is a high-quality residential development with excellent amenities and a desirable location in one of London's most sought-after areas.
