About the project
Located within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Wycliffe Park emerges as a novel luxury retirement village, offering independent living for its residents alongside on-site care, support, and activities.
PRP has crafted tailored accommodations for the elderly, enabling residents to ’age in place’, surpassing the Lifetime Homes and Wheelchair space standards. The development comprises 156 one- or two-bedroom apartments nestled within cluster blocks encircling a central clubhouse.
The communal amenities encompass a clubhouse and meticulously designed outdoor spaces, serving as the heart of the community. It boasts a licensed restaurant, bar, bistro, private dining room, library, hobby room, gym, management offices, laundry, and scooter storage. The spa facilities feature a swimming pool (equipped with a hoist), treatment room, assisted spa bathroom, and hair salon. The landscaped grounds feature a kitchen garden, bowling green, safe pathways, and trails, all within a secure environment for residents’ leisure.
Nestled in the Buckinghamshire countryside near High Wycombe, the Wycliffe Centre emerges as a fresh retirement destination, offering a blend of accommodations including residential apartments, assisted living suites, and dementia care rooms. These dwellings are nestled amidst several buildings surrounded by gardens and landscaping. The central club building hosts a swimming pool, medical and work rooms, library, lounges, and a full-service restaurant with an in-house commercial kitchen.
Michelmersh Charnwood Light Victorian Red Clay Brick adorns the entirety of the project. Its red hues and artisanal allure perfectly complement Wycliffe’s diverse exteriors, providing a distinctive backdrop to the site’s verdant, open environs.
