Capital Square, Chelmsford

All three projects entered by Barratt Eastern Counties made a fitting contextual response that did not descend into pastiche. Balkerne Heights and Albany Gardens showed a rich mix of both materials and detailing and so helped foster a real sense of place. Designed on more contemporary lines, the same philosophy is applied to Capital Square. Workmanship was to a high standard throughout.
